In 2007, Photronics and Micron partnered in the design of the 12 acre Photronics Mask Building located on Federal Way adjacent to Micron's Boise Technology Campus. Project tasks included assisting in the pre-planning exercise and coordination with the City of Boise to develop a conceptual plan that was consistent with the client's needs, which could be supported by the local community and the City of Boise.
Civil design included a rock excavation plan, sanitary sewer plan and profile, grading & drainage, parking lot, sidewalks, stormwater detention/mitigation facility, stormwater pump station, vehicle circulation, on and off-site water, Federal Way Road improvements, and a bypass channel. Coordination with the Ada County Highway District, United Water, DEQ, Idaho Power, Intermountain Gas, Boise City and other consultants.
The Architectural design of this building was substantially similar to the Micron Mask building that was completed in 2001. Because of our staffs experience on the previous project they were selected to design the utility Infrastructure and parking facilities for the project.
Our staff was able to facilitate an accelerated plan review process at the City of Boise that saved several months in the design process, saving the Client time and money.
